Chinese star Liang Wen-chong remained firmly at the top of the leaderboard after firing a one-under-par 71 in the second round at the Hero Honda Indian Open on Friday. Liang, who posted a record 60 on Thursday, produced a 13-under-par 131 total for a comfortable five stroke lead over Sweden's Daniel Chopra who shot a 70 in second place at the Delhi Golf Club.

China's Liang Wen-chong fired a record breaking 12-under-par 60 for a five-stroke lead in the opening round at the Hero Honda Indian Open on Thursday. Liang, who was the 2007 Asian Tour's Order of Merit winner, surpassed the previous course record of 10-under-par 62 set by India's Shiv Kapur last year at the Delhi Golf Club.

Amongst cars sold in the mid-size category (domestic sales) between April 2007 and March 2008, diesel variants outsold petrol car models roughly in the ratio of 7:3. That means over 70 per cent of the over 1,79,493 mid-size cars sold in the domestic markets were diesel models. Diesel mid-size cars on an average are priced 15.5 per cent more than the petrol variant. Overall, the mid-size category, petrol and diesel models included, grew by 14.6 per cent.

Force India driver Adrian Sutil emerged 12th among 13 drivers on the third and final day of Formula One testing in Barcelona on Sunday. The German clocked a best timing of 1 minute 23.800 seconds after 86 laps of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya, on the outskirts of Barcelona. Only Honda's British driver Jenson Button was slower at 1:23.808 seconds. Australian Mark Webber was fastest in his Red Bull, clocking 1:22.385.
